This is Xi Lan (shee-lahn). He's Zoo Atlanta's most recent giant panda cub. Xi is 6 months old and has just now learned to climb. Currently, the climbing structure is his favorite place to be whether he's sleeping or awake.

He's so cute and looks nice and comfortable.
Great shot, I have mixed emotions about pandas and many other animals, but considering China I guess this is the only way to keep the species viable.
I have mixed feelings about keeping any animal in captivity, but guess it serves a purpose. Nice shot of the baby.
