Okay, work with me here. This is probably the most stretched theme I've done. :) When I was little I used to think that opals had stars in them. I really did! And, what do you use to look at stars sometimes? A telescope!
These earrings hold sentimental value for me. They were a gift from a very close family friend. Her husband smoothed the stones and made the earrings for me. I also have an opal pendant he made as a gift (opal is my birthstone). Now that they've both passed away, they're even more special.
