Dangerous (23 of 366)
A Red Spitting Cobra. These snakes prey on pythons in the wild along with frogs, toads and rodents. The Red spitting cobra is mainly found in eastern Africa.

What a beautiful creature! But I'm glad its on my computer screen and not trying to determine whether or not I'm a toad, rodent or a python. Great capture!!
The low perspective makes one feel somewhat threatened, seeing the snake from the point of view of its next meal.
