Public Transportation (123 of 365)

365_Public_Transportation[2009]

Metro Atlanta's public transportation is known as MARTA (Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority). It covers a good portion of the metro area via rail and the remainder via bus. It's not as convenient as New York's MTA or the T in the D.C. metro area simply because there are many suburbs that aren't covered by the train.

This is a train pulling out of the Inman Park/Reynoldstown station. We were waiting for our westbound train after an afternoon at the Inman Park Festival.
