The Vortex is one of my favorite places in Atlanta. It's definitely the place to go if you want a great burger. However, it isn't for the faint of heart. There aren't that many restaurants who warn you ahead of time that if you are easily offended you should eat somewhere else. They also have a strict "Tip or Die" policy. ;)
The Vortex is lots of fun, offensiveness included, and they've been voted the best burger in Atlanta since 1992. They also offer some mean breakfast sandwiches! The entire place is full of wacky decor from old gas pumps to crazy signs to chandeliers with reg and green bulbs! :)

That does look a lot like Christmas! Very ornate look to the place. Wish I could take in all the wonderful sites I have visited on the blogs....
