There's a fascinating combination of lights and shadows, colors and different levels of sharpness that keeps the eye engaged.
So much to see. The image leaves me thinking that he is in an enclosure, but I know he isn't. I love the sharpness of his perch and his colors. Nice composition.
Looks like a House Finch if I'm not mistaken and great photo of one. Very well done.
