City Life (151 of 366)
One of the great things about living in Atlanta is the abundance of parks. On Sunday, we took the foster boys to Grant Park for a little exercise and socialization. They did great!
This big boy is Biff. Although he's a handful, quite literally, he is one of the most affectionate dogs I've ever known. He loves to cuddle and give sugar!

Sexy (148 of 366)
As part of the Bastille Day celebrations, Minette Magnifique performed their well-known burlesque show. Talk about sexy!

The Weekend (145 of 366)
Over the weekend I attended Bastille Day celebrations at Paris on Ponce in Atlanta. They have a great event space called Le Maison Rouge. They had such fun decor!

Cold (142 of 366)
Beluga whales are one of my favorite marine mammals. My chances of seeing them during a dive are slim to none since they reside in Arctic and Sub-Arctic waters. However, I can see them and interact with them at the Georgia Aquarium. Not only to they have a program which allows divers to scuba dive in the large Ocean Voyager tank (with species such as Manta Rays, Grouper, Whale Sharks, and more!) but they have a program which allows you to meet and interact with the Belugas. I must do it!

Freeze Frame (140 of 366)
A beautiful Manta Ray mid-somersault! I'm not sure if this is Nandy or Tallulah flipping, but she's beautiful either way. You can see the other Manta Ray in the background.

Architecture (139 of 366)
The Bank of America Plaza in Atlanta, Georgia as seen from Pemberton Place. This building is still my favorite in all of downtown Atlanta.

A delicious Black Prince tomato. I have several friends who have wonderful urban gardens. I love that they share their veggies!

Tranquility (136 of 366)
My Mom came into town for a few days last week. On Friday, I got to play tourist in my own town when we visited the Georgia Aquarium. While I've been several times, it was Mom's first visit and she was amazed at the various species who reside there.
This photo turned out to be my favorite of the ones I took during our visit. I love how the lighting worked out! It looks like a very peaceful place!
