The Letter D (126 of 365)
There were a lot of these dragonflies flying around the canyon floor. I'm not sure of the exact type of dragonfly, so if anyone knows, let me know!

Hanging (124 of 365)
A couple of weeks ago, some friends and I headed to Dismals Canyon in Alabama for a weekend camping trip. We spent a long time Saturday hiking around the canyon. Lots of spider webs all over the place!

The Letter F (117 of 365)
This is the neighboring farm at my Mom's house. Most, if not all, of this land used to belong to my family. Formerly a dairy farm, it is now home to cattle and vegetable crops.

The Letter O (113 of 365)
A large field of okra at the Delano Community Farm. I am always amazed at the number and size of their crops when I visit. This visit they had three 30 lb. watermelons. They were huge! We also saw sweet bell peppers in the field that were literally the size of footballs.

Faith (111 of 365)
A shot of one of the farmhouses at the Delano Community Farm. I chose to use this photo for this theme based on the faith the members of this community have. They, as many Mennonites do, use no electricity or modern technology and trust that God will provide for them so long as they follow his Word.
[And, yeah, I might've gone a little heavy with the HDR on this one. :) Also, as we had a "Minimalism" theme and a "Simple/Minimalism" theme, I replaced one with "Faith".]

Rural (109 of 365)
On a recent trip home to Tennessee my Mom, Grandmother and I went to the Delano Community Farm. The farm consists of a Mennonite community of 18 families on 400 acres. During the warmer months of the year they have a large community market.
After buying several things from the market, we drove through the farm so I could take some photos. It's a beautiful place!

Thriving (101 of 365)
A mint bloom in the late summer sun. The last time I saw this plant at my friend's house it was just barely growing out of its container. This weekend, it was blooming beautifully!

Summer Fun (100 of 365)
My nephew enjoying his ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway.
Also, I finally hit the 100 mark! Still behind, but I am making progress.
