On Saturday I took a trip to Zoo Atlanta. It was a beautiful day for a visit. Since the weather was in the 60s, most of the animals were outside. I got some really good pictures that I thought I would share.
One of the main draws at Zoo Atlanta right now is Mei Lan, the panda cub. She's just over a year old and very adorable. Her parents Yang Yang and Lun Lun came to Altanta from the Chengdu Research Base in China. All three of them will be on their way back to Chengdu before too long, unless the zoo is able to extend their loan for the pandas.
Yang Yang (Mei Lan's father):
Lun Lun (Mei Lan's mother):
She's on the bottom here, Mei Lan is on top.
Mei Lan:
In addition to the panda cub, the zoo currently has a lot of other babies . . . and I mean lots!
